Millions of us made our resolutions at the start of the year—from losing weight to finding a new job. But you can set goals at any time of the year. One of the biggest trends is digital detoxing. From Preet Bharara to Lin Manuel Miranda, some of the most productive and creative people on the planet have discovered
that detaching from their digital devices is the best way to live in the moment. However, it may just be that you need the right inspiration and digital outlets to help you stick to your goals and clear out the ones that distract you.

APP: Moment
GOAL: Digital detox

Curious to know how many times you picked up your phone in one day or how much time you’ve spent scrolling your social media feeds? Think you might need help to detach from your digital device? Then its time to download Moment. Available for iOS and Android devices, the Moment app features a combination of free coaching and optional subscription-based advanced coaching. Moment also addresses screen time management, including “pick ups,” for families. Moment is not just about making users aware of their personal smartphone/screen habits. It really helps users tackle their addiction with ongoing support that works!

APP: Letgo
GOALS: Declutter your home

We all know “less-is-more” is all the rage. If you don’t know how to set up an ebay store, this app does the next best thing. Just take a picture of anything that you want to sell, and the app will suggest a reasonable price. Then people nearby will make you an offer. You can decide to meet someone to exchange your item or ship it to them. Either way, if you’re planning on moving or just want to get rid of your kids’ toys since they are now applying to college, then just Letgo!

APP:ClassDojo
GOAL: Get more involved with kids’ school

There’s nothing worse than being on a business trip and missing your child’s school event. For parents of elementary and middle schoolers, you’ll never miss a
minute of what’s taking place in your child’s classroom. See photos and videos from events, school trips, and classtime, and correspond with your child’s teacher effortlessly.

APP: ViewPost
GOAL: Streamline work finances

As an entrepreneur, one of the things that drives me crazy is sending invoices through services like Paypal or Quickbooks and then getting hit with excessive charges. Recently, I discovered ViewPost—a service that’s offered through my bank (Bank of America). I was able to create invoices, send them directly through the app, and have payments made directly into my bank account. Once you streamline your finances, you can finally streamline your life!
